The Agricultural Co-operation of Tinos is the collective body of farmers in Tinos, which uses local milk producing excellent pure traditional products in its privately owned creamerie:
- Graviera of Tinos (local cheese)
- Spicy creamy cheese
- “tyraki” (local soft cheese)
- “anthotyro” (ricotta)
- Fresh cooking butter
- Fresh daily milk
The products are disposed in the local market as well as in the Cyclades and Athens.
In the shop in the town of Tinos there is a wide variety of other local products that are produced by our farmers and are made by female farmers at their homes using traditional recipes of Tinos:
- Honey
- Wine
- “tsipouro”, “raki”, “ouzo”, local liquors made of artichoke and lemon
- “petimezi” (condensed grapes juice)
- Handmade pasta
- Rusk’s and bagels/cookies
- Pikles (vegetables preserved in vinegar) like caper, samphire
- Sun dried tomatoes
- Dry figs
- Herbs of Tinos nature
- Jams, “spoon sweets” (fruit in syrup)
- Artichokes preserved in vases
- Sauces, paste, appetizers
- Local pastries like nougat pies, lokum, marzipans, brittle (candy with nuts)
